What is balance? What does it mean to be balanced? The yoga practice gives us the tools to find the answers to these questions, both from a physical standpoint and a mental/spiritual one as well. As an athletic male, the idea of flexibility has always been a tougher aspect to find than strength. In this practice, we will try to find some sense of equilibrium between the two…using our strength to create stability and find the ease and openness that is flexibility. Yogis should come ready to work hard in hip and shoulder openers, while finding ease in their return to center, into balance.
